I like the color one better. It pops out more. For the B&W version to succeed it need more dodging and burning. I would also crop the right side a bit to give the flower more weight. The branches on the right create a nice sideways "V" which points us to the rose. Flower needs sharpening to help create more depth.

blackshad has a point. The composition is easy to fix: crop from the left, where the background is a mess. It will look nicer with the flower's dark background, and the bright background at the right.

I thougt that too, but after listening a frieds coment i decided to go for this crop, i think it´s a matter of taste...!!!

The central position does not work here imo.

Either a square presentation with a little more space on top/bottom or crop from one side which has already been suggested by others before me.
